"We think we've got the best lineup of screenings in recent years." The various Huntsville Hospital booths will also have information on cardiac health, bone health, cancer and digestive health.

"We're going to talk more about preventive healthcare and have information that will help seniors take better care of themselves," Ingram says.

Nurses and leadership from different hospital departments will be available for questions.

Ingram stresses the necessity of educating people about healthy living and ways to take care of themselves.

This is particularly important to seniors, who often have conditions like diabetes which require special care.

"We want to provide access for people to learn more about the healthcare options available to them," Ingram says.

He says the Senior Expo is a great way to get information on those healthcare options to a greater majority of area seniors.

"It's a great event and we're looking forward to it," he says.
